We have been manufactuing ALTI joinery for over ten years - we are now the original ALTI production company in New Zealand. Although we are based in Auckland, we cover most of the North Island and also export to the Pacific region.

ALTI is a New Zealand designed aluminium clad wooden window and door system, which is unique in the New Zealand market. This advanced type of window system is the norm in the sophisticated markets of Europe and USA. We have designed our own here in New Zealand, to suit our architecture, but using the most advanced technology from the USA and Europe.

Each order is custom made to your requirements (or your architect's). Our craftsmen individually produce each window and door to a high standard to give you a premium product to help you create a home with character and style.

The all-wood interior of ALTI means that you have a greater freedom with your interior design - there is no need to match with the colour of the powdercoated aluminium as the outside colour in not visible from the inside of your home. Tne interior's wood finish then becomes a real feature of your home, creating the feeling of warmth and beauty which only natural wood can provide.

ALTI is energy efficient, which increases your comfort levels in your home. The natural wood on the inside provides a thermal break from the exterior aluminium. Wood, which is a natural insulator, is 1500 times more thermal resistant than aluminium. That means that ALTI provides you with an energy efficient window and gives you improved room comfort plus little or no condensation or mildew growth. So no more mopping up moisture and a reduced need for thermal drapes, especially when you combine ALTI with insulating double glazing.

ALTI is supplied with only top quality hardware - imported locks and catches of the highest standard. This provides you with improved security (handles and locks are fixed through both the aluminium and timber sections. Your doors and windows will continue to operate smoothly for a lifetime with these high quality fittings.

The exterior of ALTI is all-aluminium, which is coated with a durable polyester powdercoated colour (with over 100 colours to choose from to suit your exterior). This low maintenance exterior has been designed to look like traditional timber joinery. We use substantial aluminium sections with smooth rounded lines - this provides you with good looks as well as strength and durability.

ALTI is also very functional when installed in your special rooms, with the remainder of the house in standard aluminium joinery. This is cost effective and adds considerable value to your home, especially when you wish to make a statement with quality.
